Avago Technologies' MGA-64606 is an economical, easy-to-use GaAs MMIC Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) with Bypass/Shutdown mode.

MGA-64606 has a low noise figure and high linearity achieved through the use of Avago Technologies’ proprietary 0.25um GaAs Enhancement-mode pHEMT process. 

The 1.5-3.0 GHz MGA-64606 LNA has switchable shutdown and bypass functionality that enables it to be bypassed during periods of high input signal power. This feature reduces current consumption, conserving battery-life in portable devices. The MGA-64606 addresses GPS, WiMAX, WLAN, WiBro and DMB and other applications.
