MGA-565P8

20dBm Psat High Isolation Buffer Amplifier

Description
The MGA-565P8 is buffer amplifier designed for use in LO chains to drive high dynamic range passive mixers with consistent high Psat of 20dBm with 0dBm input power, isolation of 42dB and small signal gain of 22dB gain, ideal for use as a buffer amplifier in cellular/PCS/WCDMA/CDMA2000 base station and other wireless infrastructure application up to 3GHz frequency range. It is fabricated using Avago Technologies' GaAs Enhancement-mode pHEMT process and housed in an 8-lead LPCC (JEDEC DFP-N) package.

Features
  • MGA-565P8 features a adjustable saturated output power between 9dBm and 20dBm using an external resistor, with a corresponding adjustment in current consumption. This will help in reducing power consumption in application where high Psat is not necessary and enable design flexibility to meet various design performance requirement.
  • The thermally efficient package measures only 2mm x 2mm x 0.75mm. Its backside metalization provides excellent thermal dissipation as well as visual evidence of solder reflow. The device has a Point MTTF of over 300 years at a mounting temperature of 85:C.
