Ultra Low Noise, High Linearity Low Noise Amplifier

Avago Technologies’ MGA-634P8 is an economical, easy-to-use GaAs MMIC Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) and has Low Noise and High Linearity achieved through the use of Avago Technologies' proprietary 0.25um GaAs Enhancement-mode pHEMT process.

The MGA-634P8 low noise amplifer is the latest addition to Avago’s family of ultra low noise, high gain, high linearity Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) low noise amplifiers, designed to be used as first stage LNA of cellular base station transceiver radio cards, tower mounted amplifiers (TMA), combiners, repeaters and remote/digital radio heads.

MGA-634P8 High Linearity Low Noise Amplifier Features:

• 1500 MHz to 2300 MHz operation
– Best in class NF: 0.44 dB @ 1900 MHz
– High linearity: 36 dBm OIP3
– High gain: 17.4 dB
– 21 dBm OP1dB @ 1900 MHz
• Single 5 V power supply and 48mA low power consumption
– 240 mW
• Common footprint and matching network across Avago’s MGA-63xP8 series
– Simplifies PCB design and engineering across different frequencies
