Proximity Sensors

Proximity Sensors are designed for use in detecting the presence of an object or motion detection in various industrial, mobile, electronic appliances and retail automations. For example, optical proximity sensors detect the presence or absence of an object like paper in a printer to detect an out-of-paper condition, the mobile phone next to your face which will dim the display and save battery life.

Ambient Light Sensors

Ambient Light Sensors  provide precise light detection for a wide range of ambient brightness and are commonly used in LCD Backlight Control in mobile phones, LCD TV/Panel and Notebook applications. This series of products are part of the Sensor Solution. Ambient Light sensors detect the amount of light available and signal as to whether or not backlighting is necessary and also control the turning on and off of the lighting system.
