ADNK-5053-HT01
Reference Design kit for ADNS-5050
Description
The Avago ADNK-5053-HT01 is a reference design kits for building a cost-effective USB optical mouse. It uses the Avago small form factor ADNS-5050 optical mouse sensor and Holtek Semiconductor HT82M99E USB microcontroller.
The ADNS-5050 is a mainstream, small form factor optical navigation sensor. It is a user-friendly product with many build-in features and optimized for LED-based corded products. The ADNS-5050 is capable of high-speed motion detection - at 30ips and 8g. In addition, it has an on-chip oscillator and built in LED driver to minimized external components, and the frame rate is adjusted internally.
The HT82M99E is an 8-bit RISC microcontroller with and intergrated USB Serial Interface Engine (SIE). The architecture executes general-purpose insctruction that are optimized for USB applications. The HT82M99E has a built-in timers as well as programmable drive strength and pull-up resistors on each I/O line.
