2-Channel 150LPI digital encoder with horizontal mounting (bent lead) configuration
Description
This new encoder product family is part of Avago’s continued expansion of our Optical Encoder offerings using transmissive technology. The additional higher resolution of 360LPI to the AEDS-964x family series is our latest add-on offering which are not offered by our competitors today. This will give optimum resolution for positioning and control, suitable in most of office automation applications.
The AEDS-964x series uses the Incremental Transmissive Optical technology, which enables rotary or linear position detection when operating in conjunction with either a codewheel or codestrip. The encoder consists of a lensed LED source and a detector IC enclosed in a small C-shaped plastic package.
The products are offered in an ultra small package to enable applications with space constraint area, and to fit into today’s need for smaller and more compact end products.
