Solar Power (BIPV)
A building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) system involves integrating photovoltaic modules into the building for example by replacing the roofs, walls or windows. The complete BIPV consists of the PV modules, charge controller, power storage and conversion system.
Avago Technologies provides gate drive optocouplers for driving power IGBT/MOSFET and isolation amplifiers for current sensing in the power conversion system. The gate drive optocouplers isolation solutions provide reliable and efficient driver while the isolation amplifiers provide precise and stable voltage and current monitoring in noisy, high voltage environment. Avago Technologies also provide high speed digital optocouplers for communications, control and data collections between these high voltage systems and the processors.
