Avago Technologies Wins Oracle 2011 High Technology Industry Excellence Award for Enterprise Intelligence

SAN JOSE, Calif., and SINGAPORE,  October 26, 2011

Avago Technologies (Nasdaq: AVGO), a leading supplier of analog interface components for communications, industrial and consumer applications, today announced it has been selected as the recipient of Oracle’s 2011 High Technology Industry Excellence Award for Innovation in the award category of Enterprise Intelligence.

Oracle selected Avago for its innovative usage of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) to completely transform the way the company manages and consumes enterprise performance information. The Avago Information Technology team integrated data from separate systems into a single, consistent global view with real-time reports and dashboards to aid executives and analysts.
